Woman Has Amazing Comeback For Shop Assistants Who Laughed At Her Shorts

48,000 people have shared a young woman’s post about sniggering shop workers, after she popped into Superdrug to pick up some essentials and found herself the butt of the shopgirls’ jokes.

Harriet Rae explained howshe was singled out for the cruel jibes by the duo, who were working at the Truro branch of Superdrug, because of her appearance and allegedly her shorts. But, in all honesty – she and her shorts look perfectly indifferentto me.

Did something happen overnight and shorts are no longer a thing? Or am I missing something here?

Here is her post:

She later edited the post and added that she has since been contacted by the big dogs at Superdrug and given a formal apology and the chance to specify the staff in particular, she declined.

I have spoken to the lovely people at Superdrug Head Office who apologised for what happened in the Truro Store on Saturday.

I reenforced that the intended message of the post was to spread kindness and positivity not embarrassment or hurt. They understood and accepted that I didnt want to give a description of the people or my location in the store when it happened.

They have also said that my post will be used in training in the future to make sure it doesnt happen again.

A spokesman for Superdrug said: Following the post on Facebook we launched an immediate investigation.

At Superdrug we pride ourselves on the highest levels of customer service and would like to apologise unreservedly if on this occasion we have failed to meet our high standards. We have apologised to the customer.
