If you’re reading this (which you obviously are) you’ve definitely died and gone to some kind of deep-fried, Cadbury Creme Egg version of heaven.
If you’re into the deeply sickly, you probably remember that last year Creme Egg burgers became a thing at one London hotel and were perfect for people trying to satisfy their sweet tooth and who clearly weren’t bothered about early-onset diabetes.
Now they’re back and this time they’re deep fried, so you can add not being bothered about early-onset heart failure too… Studio Kitchen at the K West Hotel & Spa in Shepherd’s Bush is serving up a whole hunk of deliciousness by way of a brioche bun dipped in white chocolate, dusted with raspberry sprinkles and filled with a battered creme egg topped with mascarpone cream and strawberry jelly.
They’re available from March 20 for a limited time only, and you can have 2 for 5.50 (because one obviously won’t be enough) or as part of a cream tea which features candy floss, mini donuts and the ingenious Daim dog – a Daim bar cake shaped into a hot dog.
How sickeningly delicious.
