The Daily Beast claim that James Woods shared the doctored Pelosi clip is 100% fake news

We just noticed something about that big Daily Beast scoop on the random guy in the Bronx who allegedly posted the doctored Nancy Pelosi video. According to the Daily Beast, Trump supporter and Twitchy favorite James Woods shared it:

The video was an instant social media smash, surging through the internet’s well-worn ley lines of credulity and venom. It was shared more than 60,000 times on Facebook and accumulated 4 million page views from links. “Drunk as a skunk,” mused actor turned alt-right curmudgeon James Woods, whose tweet of the video scored 17,000 retweets and 55,000 likes. “What is wrong with Nancy Pelosi?”, wrote Rudy Giuliani,  the president’s personal lawyer, in a tweet linking to the AllNews 24/7 post.  “Her speech pattern is bizarre.”

But the video of Pelosi that Woods shared was from February, months before the clip of Pelosi that everyone is talking about was created:

She’s not even wearing the same outfit. From the Washington Post:

/*if ( (window.__aa_fraud_serve === undefined) || (window.__aa_fraud_serve == true) ) {*/ googletag.cmd.push(function () { googletag.display(“div-gpt-300x250_1”); }); /*}*/

And as we’ve told you, Woods was locked out of his account and hasn’t tweeted in weeks:

So, either James Woods has a time machine or the Daily Beast needs to issue a correction.
