Starbucks customer gets offensive diabetes joke with grande mocha

Starbucks is notorious for misspelling nameson cups, but one customer in Florida gotmore than that.

A St. Augustine Starbucks is dealing with some scalding-hot outrage after a customer’s grande white mocha was labeled with “Diabetes here I come” instead of a name.

The customer, who reportedly works near the Starbucks but didn’t actually pick up the coffee, told Action News Jax that his two sisters are diabetic, so he didn’t really think it was so funny. “Seeing and knowing the struggle my sisters went through by third, fourth grade, it definitely struck a nerve, and I didnt just want to let it go,” he told the station.

Action News Jax reached out to Starbucks, which responded: “We strive to provide an inclusive and positive experience for our customers, and we’re disappointed to learn of this incident. We are working directly with the customer to apologize for his experience, and with our partners (employees) to ensure this does not happen again.”

This is even worse than the Starbucks satanic drizzle incident of 2014.
