The American Health Care Act, introduced on Monday, will replace many of the core elements of the Affordable Care Act and also end the requirement for individuals to have insurance.
These changes will make healthcare more affordable — for people who can already afford it — and will take millions of people off health insurance rolls.
According to Democratic (and some Republican) leaders, the new measure would severely hit the poor by pulling back the Obamacare expansion of the Medicaid health insurance program for lower income families.
Of course, Trump’s administration couldn’t be prouder of this new legislation, which still must win approval in the House and Senate before it gets to POTUS’s tiny hands.
While the GOP’s Obamacare replacement is certainly causing a debate amongst constitutes, the new measure also ignited a meme epidemic on Twitter!
Twitics were quick to compare the two care acts with an endless supply of memes — and let’s just say they didn’t make Trumpcare look too flattering.
