Naked Juice Is Being Sued Because Their 300 Calorie Juices Aren’t Healthy


Any juice that literally tastes like the candy apple fruit punch martini from Sugar Factory obviously cant be good for you. Naked Juice is being sued for having like, WAY more sugar in their drinks than they advertise, and we cant say were surprised.

The Center for Science in the Public Interest came out with a statement saying that Nakeds no sugar added and only the best ingredients labels lead customers to think its products are healthier than they really are. For example, a 15-ounce bottle of the Kale Blazer juice contains eight teaspoons of sugar. At that point, wed rather just eat kale and have a cookie afterwards.

People who know like, nothing about health are flipping out over this news, but this lawsuit isnt shocking at all. First of all, these juices are, on the low end, nearly 300 calories. Did you really think that was all celery? Alsothink about it. Naked is owned by PepsiCodid you actually expect a soda company to have their customers health in mind?

People are also blaming the company for making their advertising on the bottle seem like the vegetables are the main ingredient, when really the whole juice is filled with sugar from fruit. On the side of a Naked green juice bottle, it says, Turns out you also get diabetes, so like, lets skip the bullshit.
