Hillary Clinton Just Completely Shut Down Donald Trump With One Simple Word

Donald Trumpdecided he is the best possible leader for the gay communityand women, despite being, well, the worst.

He apparently claimed so on Thursday. Phil Mattingly, a CNN correspondent, tweeted this quote:

Hillary Clinton had an idea of who might be better for the gay community and women. As she (or, more likely, her social media team) did last week, she burned Trump with one simple tweet:

Leaving most of Twitter to cry:

Clinton has some pretty decent information to back her up on this claim.

Since January, she has had the endorsements of the Human Rights Campaign, the biggest LGBTQ+ rights organization in America, as well as NARAL Pro-Choice America.

Planned Parenthood also endorsed her, in its first-ever presidential primary endorsement. She is also endorsed by EMILY’s List, a PAC that supports Democratic pro-choice candidates.

Earlier this week, Trump posed a question:

Ask the gays what they think and what they do in not only Saudi Arabia, but many of these countries, and then you tell me who’s your friend: Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton?

“The gays” had a few responses to that.

Trump is saying all these things in the week following the mass shooting at Pulse, a gay club in Orlando, Florida, where 49 people were killed.

He’s trying to convince voters he is better to keep the LGBTQ+ community(and I guess women) safe.

In terms of keeping the country safe, voters believe more in Clinton. Fifty percent of people said they think Clinton would do a better job with terrorism and national security, according to a CBS poll conducted before the Orlando shooting. Only 43 percent said Trump would.

And if you want to take a look at overall votes in that poll, 43 percent of voters said they would vote for Clinton in the general election, compared to 37 percent for Trump.

Trump must be thinking it’s time to stop posing open questions. He might think he knows the answer, but the public is telling him he’s wrong.
