UPDATE 8:10 P.M. EST: Alec Baldwin has responded to the story on Twitter, essentially doing his Trump — though a far more articulate version — and calling it all fake news:
1- Normally, I would not comment on something as egregiously misstated as today’s story.
However, the assertion that I punched anyone over a parking spot is false.
I wanted to go on the record stating as much.
I realize that it has become a sport to tag people w as many negative

According to law enforcement sources via TMZ, a friend of the 30 Rock alum tried to reserve a spot near 10th Street and 5th Avenue, until the other man swooped in.
Allegedly, the actor and the 49-year-old male got into an argument, and after things allegedly got physical, the alleged victim was taken to the hospital.
According to audio obtained by DailyMail.com, an eyewitness said in an interview:
“He said, ‘Shut the f**k up’ and all that. Ya know, he angry. He got all that money ma. What are you so angry for?’… They took him in the cop car.”‘
The witness said he tried to calm the thespian down as both parties fought over parking.
“He was like, ‘Yo, what do you think you’re doing, man? Don’t you see me parking here?’… He was minding his business and all of a sudden, [Baldwin] just punched him.”‘
His new show, The Alec Baldwin Show, premiered on ABC on October 14.
